The Epping Forest Outdoor Group stayed at the County Hotel, Llandudno from 28th April, through to 1st May, 2006. With the Great Orme and the Little Orme to explore, and May Day festivities to join in, it was a busy and exciting weekend. On our first day we had a bobsleigh ride, walked on the Great Orme, visited St. Tudno's Church and rode on a galloper. Next day some of us did a bit of bird-watching (choughs on the Worm), and on the last day of April and the start of May Day, the coming of summer was celebrated by one member by a walk in the sea. The others - more sensibly perhaps - went to bed. Probably a good time was had by all.
